Why Classroom doesn't replace full LMS
- No structured gradebook: grades per task, no categories/weights/rubrics
- No quiz engine: depends on Google Forms (limited types, no psychometrics)
- No course hierarchy: everything is "Class". No Course > Module > Lesson concept
- No scheduled publishing: everything published immediately
- No RAG/dedicated AI tutor: Gemini in Classroom is basic vs Studeia multi-agent
- No analytics: see who completed task, but no psychometric analysis
- No gamification: zero XP, badges, leaderboards
- No certificates: doesn't generate verifiable credentials
- No LTI: doesn't integrate with other educational tools
- No structured communication: comments on posts, no threaded forum with search
Strategy
Most common: K-12 school uses BOTH. Classroom for day-to-day operations, Studeia for curricular courses and gamification.
